Pate Brisee II
For top and bottom pie crust, ect.
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 pound plus 2 Tablespoons butter cut into 8 pieces.
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons ice water
Place all ingredients, except water, into food processor. Process until the measure has the consistency of coarse meal.
With the machine running, add water to the processor. Continue processing until mixture forms a ball. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before using.
