Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1 1/2 lbs veal stew meat,cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion,quarted and sliced
- salt and pepper
- 1 can (lb) tomato sauce
- 1 can (3 oz) sliced mushrooms
- 1 teaspoons basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 3 potaoes and cut in 1-inch cubes
- 2 green peppers,seede and cut in 1/2 inch strips
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in laege skillet and brown veal lightly.Add onion and cook about 5 minutes,or until golden.Season with salt and pepper.Add tomaote sauce,mushroom liquid,basil and oregano.Cover and cook over low heat 30 minutes.Add potatoes and green peppers,cover and simmer 15 minutes,or until tender.Add mushroom and heat through.Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
