Honey Wheat Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 (12-ounce) honey wheat beer
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
2. In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients until blended. Add honey and beer. Dough will be very sticky. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Brush 1 tablespoon honey and melted butter over dough. Bake 50 minutes.
