Strawberry Pecan and Swiss Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup poppy seed dressing, like Brianna’s
  • 2 Tbs. orange juice
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 cups baby spring lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded or 2 cups diced Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup toasted pecans
  • 2 Tbs. sliced fresh mint leaves

Preparation

Step 1



In bowl, combine poppy seed dressing and orange juice; divide evenly among four 1/2- to 1-liter jars or containers.

Divide strawberries, lettuce, Swiss, cranberries, pecans and mint evenly among jars, layering as desired; close jars.

(If using large jars, they won’t be filled to the top.)
