Espresso Nightcap with Vanilla Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/4 cups espresso
  • 1 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. For the espresso nightcap; Combine the milk, heavy cream, espresso and amaretto liqueur in a medium saucepan. Place over low heat, stirring constantly until hot but not boiling, about 3-5 mins.

2. for the vanilla cream; In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream until thick. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue to beat until cream holds soft peaks.

3. To serve: Pour the espresso ngihtcap into 4 (8oz) mugs. Dollop with the vanilla whipped cream and serve immediately.
