Ingredients

  • (Cream Together)

  • 3

    cups sugar

  • 1

    cup vegetable oil

  • (Add and mix until smooth)

  • 4

    eggs

  • 2

    cups pumpkin (1 small can) it is 1 oz short, but that's OK.

  • (Sift Together)

  • 3 1/2

    cups flour

  • 2

    tsp. soda

  • 2

    tsp. salt

  • 1

    tsp. baking powder

  • 2

    tsp. cinnamon (I add a little more cause I love cinnamon!)

  • 2/3

    cup of water (Add alternately with flour mixture into the pumpkin mixture.)

Directions

Pour into two well greased 9x5 loaf pans. Cook at 350 degrees until top is cracked open and inside the crack is still moist. Try 45 minutes, but check it at like 35 min. to see how it is doing. If you use the large bread pans it may take longer than 45 min., just keep checking it. I like using the small bread pans. It seems like the bread gets done better in these. I use 5-6 pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake about 20-30 minutes....checking it often at the end to make sure you don't get it to done. If you smell it, it is getting close to being done! Let stand in pan 10 minutes and remove and place on rack to cool. Eat warm with butter! Yum!!!!
