Cauliflower Gratin with Almond Crust

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C butter
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 T chopped thyme
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 C whipping cream
  • 1 C shredded gruyere
  • 2/3 C panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 C sliced almonds
  • 1/4 C parmasean cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400. Melt butter in large skillet over med-high heat. Add cauliflower, saute 10 min or until golden and tender. Sprinkle with flour and add next 2 ingredients. Stir well, remove from heat. Spoon cauliflower mix into an 11/7 baking pan, drizzle with cream. Sprinkle with cheese and rest of ingredients. Bake at 400 for 18-20 min until golden.
