Ingredients
- 1/2 c sesame seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 c oil
- 1- 19 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 c lemon juice
- 2 T chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
Step 1
In a small skillet gently shake sesame seeds over low heat for 5 minutes just until golden brown. In food processor puree toasted sesame seeds, garlic, salt, pepper and 1/4 c oil until smooth. Add chickpeas, lemon juice and remaining 1/4 c oil. Process until smooth. Stir in parsley.
