Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 3 heaping Tblsp. Flour or Cornstarch
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 3 Egg yolks
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/4 lb. Cheddar Cheese
- 1 pie shell, pre-baked

Step 1
Mix sugar, flour, salt and butter. Add enough milk to mix. Begin cooking on low heat in a double boiler. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Add remainder of milk. cook until almost thick. then add grated cheese and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue and bake until meringue is brown. Makes one pie.
