Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 36 fresh mushroom caps
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

Preparation

Step 1

Clean mushroom caps with damp paper towel, set mushrooms aside. Brown sausage in a large skillet, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink, drain well. Place sausage in a bowl, add cream cheese, and stir well. Spoon sausage mixture into mushroom caps. Place mushrooms on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 10 minutes. Broil 5 ½ inches from heat 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve immediately.
