Ingredients
- 4 cups cheese (Monterey Jack or Asadero) shredded fine
- 2 - 4 oz cans green chiles
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 thin slice onion, chopped fine
- 3 tsp cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 serrano peppers, chopped fine
- 1 handful cilantro, chopped fine
Preparation
Step 1
Put all ingredients in a double boiler and heat on medium. Cook until melted and well blended, stirring occasionally. Serve with fresh tostadas or hot flour tortillas.
