Very moist pound cake that I got from a friend. Has been in her family for a while.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter, room temp
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can eagle brand milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp butter flavor extract
  • 1 tsp lemon flavor extract

Preparation

Step 1

Take you butter, sugar and mix well. add your eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Add your milk and mix well. Add your flour, about 1/2 at a time, mixing well after each. add lemon and butter flavors. bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour then raise temp to 350 and bake for an additional 15 minutes. make sure that you put the cake into a cold oven. (do not preheat)

Philadelphia Cream cheese icing:
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, room temp
1 stick butter, room temp
1 tsp vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
3-4 TBSP milk

mix all ingredients and ice cooled cake.
