Ingredients

  • Thin sliced beef
  • Mustard
  • S&P
  • Flour
  • Bacon 2 slices per piece of beef
  • Mushrooms
  • 1-2 Onions thin sliced
  • packaged gravy mix (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Partially cook slices of bacon, drain on paper towels, reserve grease

Salt & pepper the beef slices.

Spread with mustard and then top with onion slices then 2-3 slices of bacon.

Roll beef up and tie with string to secure roll

Brown in bacon grease. Add 1 C boiling water, stir, decrease heat to simmer, cover and braise for 1-1 1/2 hrs.

Add mushrooms and gravy mix (optional) 15 min before serving
