Ingredients
- 1/2 c. steel cut oats
- 2 Tb uncooked pearl barley
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 Tb sliced almonds
- 1 Tb honey

Preparation
Step 1
Combine oats, barley and water in microwave in 4 cup microwave safe bowl.
Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight
Uncover bowl and stir in salt. Microwave, uncovered, for 6 mins or until most of liquid is absorbed.
Stir after 3 mins
Stir in cinnamon & nutmeg; top w/almonds and honey
