Mom's Oyster Crackers

By

My mom has been making these seasoned crackers for years. I remember sending some when a co-worker was deployed in Desert Storm. He wrote back that the garlic in the crackers kept the enemies away. (I enjoyed his bit of humor in a humorless situation). They are definitely a great snack!

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingedients together. Sprinkle over crackers in a large bowl. Pour oil over and stir (and stir) until crackers no longer look oily. (I stir continuously for several minutes, then stir several times over the next 10-15 minutes. You're supposed to let these stand overnight, uncovered, but mine never last that long. :)

Store in covered container.
