Beef - Strips [SF] 'Sesame & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 5 Tbs Soy Sauce
  • 1 Med. Onion-Thinly Sliced
  • 8 Tbs Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Bunch Broccoli Flowerets
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 3 Tbs Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 tsp Fresh minced Ginger
  • 2 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 lbs Flank Steak in Thin Strips
  • 1 ea. Red & Green Pepper-Thinly Sliced
  • Steamed Rice

Preparation

Step 1

1. Whisk Soy Sauce, 4 Tbsp. Vegetable oil, Honey, Mustard, & Red Pepper flakes, in a Med. bowl. Add steak & toss. Marinate, covered @ room temp. for 15 minutes.
2. Heat 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil over Moderately High heat, in a wok or skillet. Heat until hot, but not smoking. Sauté Garlic, Ginger, Onion, Bell Peppers & Broccoli, Stirring 5 -7 minutes. Transfer mixture into another bowl.
3. Heat 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil in wok over High heat until hot, but not smoking. Sautéé Steak, stirring about 2 minutes.
4. Stir in sautéed vegetables & sesame seeds until heated through.
5. Server over steamed rice
