Ingredients
- 1 Cup dark beer
- 1 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- oil for frying
- Shrimp
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat a fryer or deep pot halfway filled with oil tp 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, combine beer, flour, cayenne pepper and salt and allow to sit at room temp for several hours.
Pat shrimp dry and dip in the batter and fry for about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
