French Toasts by Angel

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) whipping cream (35 %)
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) liquid honey
  • 4 choice of bread slices
  • Butter
  • Icing sugar
  • Strawberry jam
  • Maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

In bowl, whisk together eggs, cream and honey until smooth. Dip bread slices into egg mixture, one at a time, turning to soak well.

In large hot skillet, melt butter and toast bread slices on each side for a few minutes. Serve two French toasts per person and garnish lightly with strawberry jam and maple syrup. Dust with icing sugar.
