Heavenly Broiled mullet

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds skinned mullet fillets, or other fish fillets, fresh or frozen.
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 tbs chopped green onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash of tabasco

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw fish if frozen. Place fillets in single layer in a well greased bake and serve platter. 15x10.
Brush fillets with lemon juice and let stand for ten minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Broil fillets about 4 inches from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Remove from heat and spread with cheese mixture. Broil 2 to 3 minutes longer or until lightly browned.
