Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 8 ounces whole mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 12 ounces fresh shrimp, deveined
- 1 cup white wine
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch, with just enough water to dissolve
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in large skillet. Add crushed garlic and whole mushrooms. Gently mix in lemon juice and shrimp. (Add more butter if needed at this time.) Saute 1 minute on each side, or until pink. Add wine; increase heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add cornstarch mixture. Return to heat until sauce is thickened.
Serve over rice.
