Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups of oil
  • 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 29oz. can of pumpkin
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar

Step 1

Cake Directions: Beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy. In a seperate bowl stir together flour baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Gradually add to pumpkin mixture, and mix thoroughtly. Spread into pans, bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely. Frost.

Frosting Directions: Cream together cream cheese, vanilla and butter. Add powdered sugar a little at a time. Mix until smooth.
