Ingredients
- Yield: approximately 3/4 cup
- 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Vs teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, cream, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook l minute, stirring occasionally. Place confectioners' sugar in a small bowl. Add brown sugar mixture, stirring until smooth. Let stand until thickened, approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
