Chocolate Cherry Balls

• Coating:
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 12 diced marachino cherries
• 4 TBSP butter
• 1 cup coconut
• pinch salt
• 3/4 cup chopped nuts
• 2/3 cup peanut butter
• Chocolate chips
• parafine

Preparation

Step 1

Mix first 7 ingredients well, put in butter last. Roll into tiny balls & chill thoroughly.

Slowly melt chocolate chips (1-2 12 oz packages), add 3 1/2 TBSP melted parafine. Keep warm in hot water bath.

Roll balls in chocolate and set on waxed paper, chill or freeze.
