Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts or whole chicken
  • water enough to cover chicken
  • Salt and pepper to tast
  • Onion
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 cup corn bread stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup butter pr margarine melted

Preparation

Step 1

Boil chicken in water with salt and pepper and onion until tender, reserve one cup of broth. Debone chicken and cut into pieces. Place in lightly greased 9x13 pan. Combine soup and milk in a saucepan. Heat thoroughly and pour over chicken. Combine butter, reserved chicken broth with stuffing mix. Mix gently with chicken. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
