Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. stew meat
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 sliced carrots
  • 1 sliced parsnip
  • 1 large rutabaga (peeled and cut into cubes)
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 T beef stock base or 3 bouillon cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups water (add before cooking)
