Ingredients
- 2 C White Vinegar
- 1/2 C Water
- 1/2 C Sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pickling spice
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4-5 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 habanero peppers
- 2-3 jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- A few rings of white onion
Preparation
Step 1
For Habaneros, include seeds, discard stems, cut into rings. Simmer all ingredients for 10-15 min stirring occasionally. Layer into mason jars w/ hard boiled eggs.
Hard boiled eggs: Place them in a pan of cool water. Stove on high. Add a few pinches of salt. When water reaches boil, cover, remove from heat and let sit 15 min. After 15 min add cold water, or place in ice bath.
