Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1 tea. Dijon mustard
- 1 tea. brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 jalapeno, finely diced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 small clove garlic, minced and mashed to a paste
- 3/4 tea. salt
- 1/2 tea. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, whisk together the lime juice, mustard, and brown sugar. Slowly drizzle in the oil, whisking rapidly, then add it in a steadier steam as the mixture c=thickens and emulsifies. Fold in the jalapeno, cilantro, garlic, salt and pepper.
This will keep, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Whisk well before serving.
