Linguine With Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh garlic cloves - (to 6)
  • Olive oil as needed
  • 4 tablespoons butter - (to 5 tbspns)
  • 2 handfuls chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons basil
  • 2 cans minced clams
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
  • Linguine cooked

Preparation

Step 1

Mince garlic. Cover bottom of saucepan with oil and brown garlic. Add butter and melt. Add parsley, basil, and pepper; stir well. Add clams and tomato sauce. Stir well and cover. Let sauce simmer 20 minutes. Pour over cooked linguine.
