Chocolate Trifle

This is the most decadent dessert you will ever eat!!! I got the recipe from Foodnetwork and I put my on spin on with the Grand Mariner.

Ingredients

  • 1 box Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 1 jar Hot Fudge
  • 2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 2 Heath bars, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup Kaluha
  • 2 capfuls of Grand Mariner
  • 1/4 cup Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake according to directions on the package in a 9 x13 pan. While cake is baking, beat whipping cream adding sugar and grand mariner.

When cake is done, allow it to cool for 20-30 minutes. Poke cake with a fork several times and pour Kaluha on cake. When ready to serve. Heat hot fudge for 1 minute in the microwave. Cut cake into large squares and layer the bottom of a tall bowl with cake. Pour half the fudge over cake and add half the crumbled heath bar. Layer half the whipped cream. Repeat and finish with heath bar crumbles.
