Chicken Tortillas

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, oooked
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 1/2 can (10.75oz) each of cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can (7oz)green chile salsa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 corn tortillas, cut into triangles
  • 1/2 lb Cheddar Cheese grated
  • 1 1/2 green chiles, canned, seeded, and diced

Preparation

Step 1

Remove skin and bones from chicken. Cut into large pieces. Set aside.

In a bowl combine onion, the soups, salsa and milk, blending well.

In a 1 1/2 qt buttered casserole, layer half the tortillas, chicken, sauce and cheese. Sprinkle with the green chiles.

Repeat the layers once more until the ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.

Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Remove cover. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
