Blondies, Chocolate-chip

These chewy, moist blondies are so rich in flavor, you'd never know they're low in fat.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups unpacked brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons light butter, softened
- 2 large egg whites
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup water
- 6 oz mini chocolate chips (about 3/4 cup)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. In a large bowl, beat brown sugar and butter until fluffy. Add egg whites and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture alternating with water. Stir in chips.
3. Spread into a foil-lined 9X13 inch pan. Bake until golden, about 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Remove foil and cut into 24 two-inch squares.
