Ingredients
- Dough:
- milk 1 C
- egg 2
- butter 4 TB
- water
- instant vanilla pudding mix 1 box
- all purpose flour 4 1/2 C
- white sugar 4 TB
- salt 1/2 tsp
- yeast 2 1/2 tsp
- Filling :
- butter 4 TB
- Brown sugar 1C
- cinnamon 2 TB
- pecans 1c
- raisins 1/2 c
- Icing:
- milk 4 TB
- confectioners sugar 1 1/2 C
- butter 5 TB
- vanilla 1 TB
- bag of caramel chips 1
Preparation
Step 1
For the dough mix together milk, egg, melted 4 TB butter, 4 TB water, pudding mix, 1 TB white sugar, salt, yeast in viamix
pour flour into bowl
add liquid mix and set aside
For the Filling mix 4 TB butter, brown sugar, raisins & cinnamon - set aside while waiting for dough to rise
on a lightly floured surface roll out dough
spread the cinnamon mix over dough
roll the dough into a log and pinch ends to seal
cut 1/2 inch slices and place on greased pan with tall sides and allow to rise for at least 2 hours
preheat oven 350 - bake 15-20 min
For Icing:
mix 4TB milk, confectioners sugar, 5TB butter & 1TB vanilla - drizzle over cooled rolls
heat pecans but do not blacken - let cool break into bits & sprinkle over rolls
heat caramel in double boiler & drizzle over rolls
Serve with hot coffee or cold milk
