Ingredients
- 4 pounds rolled rib roast
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons flour
- extra water
Preparation
Step 1
TRIM excess fat from meat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and rub in well. Place meat in a greased baking dish and pour wine and water over meat. Marinate for 4 hours. Cook on low rack in the oven at 320 for 1 hour. Turn meat and cook at 350 for a further 40 minutes for rare, 50 minutes for medium and 1 hour for well done.
