Oven-Roasted Butternut Squash with Maple Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 butternut squash, halved lengthwise, strings and seeds scooped out
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 400.

2. Place squash cut sides down on sprayed baking sheet. Bkae until tender, 45-55 minutes.

3. Melt butter in a small skillet. Add syrup and s&p. Turn off heat.

4. Turn squash halves over and brush syrup over flesh. Bake another 5 minutes.


This was good and very easy! Would make again. Only downside is that the squash was hard to eat this way - much prefer it cut up before cooking.
