  • CRUST (Old French Recipe):

    cup boiling water

    cup vegetable oil

  • FILLING:

    cup shredded Swiss cheese

    cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    cup crumbled feta cheese

    pint half-and-half (you can substitute heavy cream)

    cup cubed zucchini or broccoli

    cup shredded crab meat

Directions

For the Crust: Combine ingredients, mix with fork, and press into a large quiche pan. Do not roll; handle as little as possible. For the Filling: Combine eggs, half-and-half, and seasoning. Whisk for 1 minute. Put cheeses, vegetable, and crab into prepared shell. Pour liquid over filling. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees.
