Ingredients

    pork loin roast

  • salt and pepper

  • 1

    clove garlic

  • 2

    medium onion

  • 2

    bay leaves

  • 1

    cup hot water

  • 2

    Tbs soy sauce

Directions

Rub pork with salt and pepper. Make tiny slits in meat for garlic slivers. Place roast in broiler pan and broil 15-20 mins to remove excess fat. Put one onion sliced in bottom of pot. Add browned roast and remaining ingredients Cover and cook low about 10 hours To thicken gravy Set on high and: remove roast to serving platter. Blend 2 Tbs cornstarch with 2 Tbs cold water to form smooth paste. Set on high and pour in paste. Stir well and let come to boil and thickened.
