Cupcakes: Chocolate Ganache Filling

  • 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped fine
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Place chocolate, cream and powdered sugar in a medium microwave-safe bowl. heat on high power until mixture is warm to the touch, 20-30 seconds. Whisk until smooth; transfer bowl to refrigerator and let stand until just chilled, no longer than 20 minutes.

Place one slightly rounded teaspoon of ganache filling on top of each cupcake batter before baking. Bake as directed.
