Lime-Basil Mahi Mahi Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 mahi mahi steaks

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the lime juice, basil, pepper, garlic and salt in a ziplock bag. Add the mahi mahi steaks and seal, squeezing out as much air as possible. Marinate the steaks in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes.
Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees.
Remove the fish from the ziplock bag and place it, together with some of the marinade, on a small tray with raised edges. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish begins to flake.
