Pic-a-lili Relish

Ingredients

  • Cabbage 1 lb.-chop with knife or food processor
  • Bell Pepper
  • Onions
  • Ripe Tomatoes
  • Green Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Hot Peppers
  • 1/2 cup Pickling Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Boil 1/2 cup vinegar with 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp celery seed. Pour over Pic-a-lili. If need more, make another batch.


Soak cabbage, bell pepper, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers, in pickling salt and squeez all salt off after soaking 1 hour. Pour vinegar mixture over it. Cool and refrigerate.
