Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream (14% works best)
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 2 tbsp distilled white vinegar
- 1 tsp dill weed dried (or a couple Tbsp fresh- chopped)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper(ground)
- 4 large cucumbers
- 1 sweet onion (thinly sliced)

Preparation
Step 1
Peel cucumbers - I cut them in half and scoop the seeds out of at least 3 of them (this keeps them from getting extra watery). Chop or slice as you prefer. Put in a strainer and sprinkle a couple of tsp of salt over and let set for 20 min to 1/2 hour to draw some of the extra liquid out.
Rinse well in cold water and drain well.
Mix sour cream, sugar, vinegar, dill, salt, and pepper.
Pour over onions and cucumbers and mix.
