Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1/2 green pepper chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tbls cider vinegar
- 1 tbls brown sugar
- 1 tbls worceswtershire
- 1/2 tbls mustard
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Brown the beef and chopped vegetables in a large, heavy skillet or pot. You do not need to add oil; the beef provides the fat. Once browned remove excess fat. Stir in the sauce ingredients and simmer covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours on low heat.
