Ingredients
- 4 tsp. minced onion, dried or fresh
- 1 tsp. lemon juice, fresh
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
- Dash of Tabasco
- 1 c. chopped cooked shrimp (can use fresh or frozen or 4 1/2 oz. can shrimp)
- 2 tbsp. chopped dill pickle
- 1 tbsp. minced parsley (fresh or dried)
Preparation
Step 1
Soften minced onion in lemon juice; then mix well with cream cheese, mayonnaise and Tabasco. Blend shrimp, pickle and parsley into cheese mixture. Add additional lemon juice or Tabasco as desired. Refrigerate. Serve on crackers. Can also be packed into a hollowed out head of iceberg lettuce, chilled overnight and served in wedges
