Pork Loin - Roasted w/ Apples

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mama Francesca Parmesan, Asiago & Romano
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 Dijon mustard
  • 3 lb. pork loin roast
  • 1 stock butter
  • 4 small apples, cut in half and cored
  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Combine cheese with the honey and mustard.

Place pork in a heavy-bottomed deep baking pan and coat the top and sides of the pork with the cheese mixture.

Place the butter, apples and rosemary sprigs around the pork. Season the meat and apples with salt and pepper and place in the oven to roast for 20 minutes.

Add 1/2 cup of water and reduce heat to 325 degrees. Cook roast until temperature reaches 165 degrees.
