  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 TBSP EVOO
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • Stir in: 1/2 cup pesto
  • Top with: Toasted pine nuts, crushed red pepper

In a food processor, blend the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and 1/2 cup water until smooth; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in pesto. Top with: Toasted pine nuts, crushed red pepper.
