Ingredients
- 1 can pineapple chunks in juice (15 1/4 oz)
- 1 med. onion sliced
- 1 lb fully cooked ham cut in strips
- 1 sm. green pepper chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp cold water
- 4 cups hot cooked rice (serve over your favorite rice)
Preparation
Step 1
Drain pineapple & reserve juice. Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup. Cook & stir onion in margarine in 10" skillet over med. heat until onion is tender (5min.) Stir in ham, green pepper, salt & pepper, pineapple & reserved juice. Cover & simmer 5 min. Mix cornstarch with cold water & add gradually boil 1 min.
