Ingredients
- 1 pound of bacon
- 1 pound of spiral macaroni
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large yellow onion
- 16 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large can/bag sauerkraut, drained

Preparation
Step 1
Cut bacon into 2 - 3 inch pieces and cook to your liking. I like it crisp.
Cook chopped or sliced onion in a few tablespoons of bacon grease.
Sautee mushrooms in 1 - 2 tablespoons butter.
Cook pasta.(Save a little pasta water to add moisture)
In large casserole dish, add cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, onions, pasta, sauerkraut, and bacon. Mix well. Add a little pasta water if needed.
Bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
