GOLDEN COUNTRY CORN FRITTERS

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c oil
  • (Powdered sugar)

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix corn and egg.
Add to dry ingredients, stirring lightly.
Heat oil in large skillet MED heat
Drop batter by Tbs. into hot oil
Fry for about 2 minute on each side or until golden brown.
(Sprinkle powdered sugar)
