Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups milk (70-80 degrees)
- 1 eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3 3/4 cups bread flour
- 1 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a bread machine pan, place the milk, egg, butter, sugar, salt flour and yeast in order suggested by the manufacturer. Select dough setting and check after a few mins to add more water or flour as needed.
2. When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and punch down. Divide dough in half. roll each portion into 3/4" thickness; cut with a 2 1/2" biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Brush tops with melted butter. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about an hour.
3. Bake at 350F for 10-15 mins or until lightly browned.
