Ingredients
- 1/3 lb green beans
- 3 tbsp unsealed butter
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots diced medium
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced cooked chicken

Step 1
Melt butter over med- high heat. Add onion, celery and carrots and cook until translucent about 4 min. Add flour and cook stirring constantly one minute. Gradually add broth, stirring constantly then bring to boil. Reduce heat simmer 5 min. Stir in chicken and green beans season with salt and pepper.
Dumplings: whisk together 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped. Cut in 2 tbsp cold unsalted butter. Stir in 1/2 cup whole milk. Drop heaping spoonfuls batter on top of chicken mixture. Cover and simmer until dumplings cooked through, about 12 min. Serve topped with parsley
