Asparagus Casserole w/potatoes

  • 5 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 c. asparagus
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • salt and pepper



Step 1

Slice potatoes and put in baking dish; dice onions and put on top; put asparagus on top. Canned or fresh asparagus can be used; uncooked works fine. Dot with butter. Season; cover tightly and cook 45 minutes in oven. Lay cheese on top; let melt before serving. You can use more cheese and onions, if desired. This can cook over 1 hour at 325 degrees or be hurried at 400 degrees or so.
